Why did you fall in love with Vallarta and want to move here?
The people are so ‘special’; this is a small home town with big city amenities.
Why did you choose Rivera Cuale, as opposed to other options in the area?
As a retired Architect I recognize and demand quality of design and execution. Rivera Cuale has both.
What do you love most about Rivera Cuale?
The sound of the Rio Cuale, whether I am on the Riverwalk or in my unit, it soothes me continually.
What do you like about the area Rivera Cuale is in ?
We are within walking distance of some of the BEST restaurants in all of Puerto Vallarta! And I love to sit at a table anywhere along the Los Muertos beach and people watch.
Additional Comments
While much is said of the weather in PV, and the low cost of living, and the beautiful architectural styles you can choose according to your own preferences, I feel that not enough is said about the wonderful PEOPLE of Puerto Vallarta. I’ve had visitors from the states who regularly comment: “we never hear cursing, or anger or hostility; we see children of all ages playing together happily; we never felt unwelcome or like outsiders. Puerto Vallarta is unbelievable!”

Why did you fall in love with Vallarta and want to move here?
Like many others, I came to Puerto Vallarta on a whim for vacation one year and have been back once or twice a year for the past 15 years or so. I always look forward to arriving back and feeling the familiar warm weather, seeing the beautiful bay and hills and practicing my Spanish with friendly Vallartenses. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to live in PV full time just yet…but one day!
Why did you choose Rivera Cuale, as opposed to other options in the area?
I’ve stayed in many rental condos in the Zona Romantica and particularly love the old part of Puerto Vallarta. Out of curiosity, I’ve checked out some of the new developments over the years, but particularly kept an eye on Rivera Cuale over the last year because of its beautiful setting on the Rio Cuale. I love the way it’s just enough away from it all to have a feeling of tranquility but close enough to walk everywhere!
What do you love most about Rivera Cuale?
The architecture of Rivera Cuale is beautiful and unique and takes advantage of the location with its large decks offering sweeping views of the hills and town. The look of the interior of the building and the units has a great attention to detail and has both a modern and traditional Mexican feel.
What do you like about the area Rivera Cuale is in?
It’s great being by the river and just a short walk across the bridge from Old Town. The combination of the natural setting and being in an actual Puerto Vallarta neighborhood gives it a unique feeling that makes me feel at home right away.

Why did you fall in love with Vallarta and want to move here?
We began our search for a home in Mexico by first taking a Princess Cruise that took us to several Mexican port cities. That trip had Jon thinking that Cabo San Lucas was the place for us but Les wanted a city that had much more Mexican culture. That took us to San Miguel de Allende which was a very cosmopolitan Mexican city with a lot of fine qualities. However it is small, not an easy city to get to and certainly was not on the ocean! So we decided that Puerto Vallarta might be the best of both worlds and took another trip here. That trip convinced us that this city has everything that we both liked – the Mexican people are warm and friendly and the European, Canadian and US folks all seemed to adopt that friendliness and are highly complimentary of their life and experiences here. It is an immensely walkable city with more than enough to keep us happy and active!
Why did you choose Rivera Cuale, as opposed to other options in the area?
We spent many, many days looking at a wide variety of homes and condominiums. As usual, Jon would see one place that he really liked but Les didn’t and vice versa! We actually came back to Rivera Cuale three times. After we got back to Los Angeles, we continued to look at more options on the internet but ultimately it was clear to us both that Rivera Cuale was going to be our home in Puerto Vallarta. The value, design, quality and location couldn’t be beat!
What do you love most about Rivera Cuale?
It is hard to just select one or two things about Rivera Cuale that we love most! We do really like the design of our unit and the quality of all the finishes but we also love the river and mountain views from our unit!
What do you like about the area Rivera Cuale is in?
We appreciate being part of the Puerto Vallarta Mexican community instead of being separate and isolated. We can easily walk to almost everywhere we need to go and feel comfortable and safe.

The staff at Rivera Cuale has been outstanding throughout this whole process. Leanne was just outstanding at holding our hands and supporting us through to the end. We couldn’t be more grateful for her constant help.

We fell in love with the warmth of the people, the rich culture, outstanding cuisine and wealth of activities.
Why did you choose Rivera Cuale, as opposed to other options in the area?
Rivera Cuale provides the perfect location. It is situated in a quiet serene setting along the banks of a beautiful rushing river, surrounded by authentic local flavor yet only minutes away by foot from a wide array of excellent restaurants, shopping, nightlife and a short walk to the Malecon.
What do you love most about Rivera Cuale?
The quality of construction and attention to detail is top notch. We also appreciate how “green” initiatives were implemented in so many aspects of the property.

We reside in a wonderful peaceful Mexican community, yet it is only a short walk to all the action!
