RIVERA CUALE ECOLOGICAL PARTY
Mexico has one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems, in plant life as well as bird, animal, and insect life. At Rivera Cuale we are often visited by hundreds of brilliantly colored tropical birds and butterflies that come to our tropical gardens, as well as beautiful wading birds in the river. Our gardens include banana trees, guamuchile trees, buganvilias, hibiscus, and coconut palms. Here nature lovers can have their own personal paradise, and still be in the heart of the city.
To raise awareness in the community about protecting this amazing environment, Rivera Cuale hosted a fun and educational ecological party on Saturday, June 27. The day started off with a garbage collection in the streets surrounding the river, and 50 local kids and many moms participated! After the cleanup, food, music, games and prizes were provided to show appreciation to the local community and its commitment to a clean and safe environment for all to enjoy. Rivera Cuale thanks its many generous and supportive sponsors for helping to make the day a success!

WE HAVE A WINNER!!
Our rainy season started right on schedule, and the hills are lush and glorious and green, with flowers blooming everywhere. We do have a winner who correctly guessed the day in June with the most rainfall.
Cathy Gordon from San Diego, California was the first person to correctly predict which day would have the most rainfall in June as reported by Weather Underground.
The day with the most rain was June 27, with more than 5 inches (+12.7cm) of rain.
Congratulations to Cathy, who won a two-night stay at the renowned Hacienda San Angel in Puerto Vallarta, or a donation in her name to a PV charity of her choice!
CONCERT NEWS
The Alejandro Fernandez concert drew crowds estimated at 40,000 folks who hung in during a torrential downpour that lasted about an hour and then cleared. The music went on till the wee hours. 
Alejandro also performed in his home city of Guadalajara the next Saturday with many guest stars, to a crowd estimated at 150,000. The two concerts will be televised in Mexico as a two hour special later this month. No word on when it will be seen in the US as yet.

JULY PROGRESS REPORT
Lots of exciting news!
The first pool is taking shape and will be ready for our first happy owners when they take delivery at the end of August.
Both elevators are installed and are having their final testing now.
Work is progressing on the eighth floor, with beautiful wood pergolas covering some of the terraces. Only one of the four condos on the eighth floor (#802) remains, featuring some truly impressive panoramic ocean and river views.
